Earlier this Spring, I took a month-long roadtrip across the state of Utah. Along the way, I visited eight national parks, five state parks, three national preserves/recreation areas, three national forests, a national monument, and more. Over the next few weeks, I'll be posting photo essays from my trip focusing on the wildly varied geographic landscapes I encountered. For now, here's a summary of all the spots I visited.
Each picture below corresponds to one of the sites I stopped at on my trip - the numbers line up with the map points above. Though the trip began and ended in San Francisco (points 1 & 26) and included some landmarks in California and Nevada (Valley of Fire, Sequoia and Kings Canyon, etc.), the vast majority of it was spent in southern Utah.
Note - For now, the photos I've chosen come predominantly from my phone, without any additional editing. Over the coming weeks, as I process images from my camera, I'll replace some of these shots, so watch this space!
